    Ruger Mark II

I have been looking for one for the last four months. Found one yesterday, have to wait until end of the month before i get my mitts on it. I have plenty of 22lr to put through it. I was looking at the Browning Buckmark also but went with the Ruger Semi-Auto.

I can't stop shooting mine until I run out of ammo.

Thanks, I had a chance for a Mark I in box with two mags for $299.00 in January but really wanted a Mark II. Saving up my better ammo for it.

My mark II with bull barrel is very accurate. You'll really enjoy it. Putting the trigger group back into the frame after cleaning can be tricky but I'm sure there are YouTube instructions on it now that will make it simple.

I love my Ruger Mk II 5 1/2 bull barrel, accurate, will eat anything and very easy to maintain. The only downside is the magazine release, it's located at the heel of the pistol, slow to reload.

I understand the the Mark III improved on that design, placing the mag release behind the trigger gard like other semi auto's. I have never tried a Mark III so don't know if they retain the same quality or accuracy as the MarK II's.

To some this is a big deal.
I much prefer a button magazine release over the Euro heal style release.
It helps make a 22LR a better training aid for firearms with similar style releases.

MK3 are just as accurate as MK2 but the downfall of the MK3 is all the added safety features. Luckily these can all be defeated, which makes your MK3 function like an MK2 in those regards.

I still need an MK3 Standard Barrel 6 7/8th... too bad I hear they are discontinued...

                            I have one of these:

                            - Eats even the crappiest 22LR ammo (eg. golden bombs, winchester xpert HV)
                            - Laser accurate and a natural pointer
                            - Great trigger. I bought it used so I don't know if it was upgraded.

I bought an SR22 as well and thought about selling the MkII at that point, but it would have been a huge mistake! MkII > SR22.

Very nice, i hope my Mark II will eat that crappy Win33 box that i bought, my Glenfield 60 sure did not like them. Dang, have to wait till the end of the month.
