Sig 522

I just traded into a 522...

Really like the feel of it...don't love the flimsy butt stock..

Other than that I give it a "10"
In build quality... trigger is a bit creepy but not too bad.
Will give a range report after we get to try it out...

Very nice! I'd love to hear how she handles at the range. I love my HK 22, I will eventually need some kind of optics like those though. The iron sights aren't the best.

They show they will accept a backorder..... If I were you I would do it.. they are really high quality... maybe if they get a nice backorder list , it will prompt them to produce them more quickly.. plus it will insure your spot in line.

Yeah I emailed them about it and they told me all I can do is backorder one for now.

I think I will do that so I can get some Magpul furniture.

Range day, all the friends bring AR, AK, 10/22.
I take sig 556, VZ-58 and a sig 522.
Feels good to be different, but the 522 is the only one that them sayin I want one.

The Swiss made 551 folding non telescoping stock is a direct drop in replacement and MUCH better. Sig sells them now too for less than they use to sell for on other sites.

Probably the best upgrade you can make for your 522, Congrats on the purchase. It shoots great and it is super light and shoots anything. Next thing you need to buy for it is enough bricks of 22 to build a wall. I must have put close to 10K rounds through mine so far and I got it when it first came out all those years ago.
