    Red jacket zk-22

    Anyone else have the zk kit? I received it yesterday after a very long wait and am really impressed. Well made quality kit. No flex in the body. Does not have a cheap plastic feel at all. Mags drop free no binding at all. Same with cycling the bolt.

              Mike,

              No comparison to the archangel or related kits that I have seen. None of the plasticky feel at all. Feels like a finished product.

                  The fifteen screws for assembly really suck. Neat toy at the very least. I'm not sure if it's going to be a keeper.

                      Interested to see a case deflector on it... someone was thinking about us lefties! Don't know as I'd pay $299 for it though , wait for however many months to get it delivered, or go through the additional cost of getting a longer barrel so it doesn't violate overall length (see their website for that detail in small print).

                          I should show this to my cousin. He has started teaching his kids about firearms. The combination of .22 and the looks of the ZK-22 would get his kids excited about firearms.

                              The only issue that I had was the sides for the trigger bar are a pain in the arse to get started. The number of screws also sucks, but the gun feels very, very solid once assembled.

                                  If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

                                              ive been saving for a regular 10/22 just so i can buy this stock, how long was the wait? I currently have the takedown and I wonder if it would work but not likely

                                                          I like it. I got to try one and its more comfortable to me than a p90 replica. If I can find a cheap 10/22 I may just pick one up for plinking.
