The indoor 25 yard range is 15 minutes away, the outdoor 100 yard range is 1 hour away. So usually I shoot handguns at the indoor range and rifles at the outdoor range. Finally brought my 678GC to the 50 yard line for a go.
Adjusting the stock ruger overtravel screw was a humongous pain in the butt. But it was worth it in the end. Years ago I changed action parts based on recommendations from rimfirecentral, was happy with it after that. Now it's even better. You guys reading this should just buy a dang aftermarket trigger that is adjustable without disassembling the trigger group
.
I added ~ 6 clicks from my 25 yard zero before shooting. After sighting in, I think I ended up right back where I started
.
678GC off sandbags, stock sights, 10 shots wolf MT

with two hands standing 10 shots wolf mt. No need for the ruler with this one
. One shot hit 2" to the left off paper at 9 o'clock. Not sure if it's 2" from the edge of the paper or two inches from where I wrote. Bad shot nonetheless.
I am definitely not bullseye ready
