Had some time to work on this Barrett M99 conversion
70% done
Right now it's just fitted to sit in the lower receiver. I was able to get the trigger down into the housing. Also cut the lower receiver to close the bolt and able to successfully dry fire.
Things to do:
Bed the action with epoxy steel putty
Bed the M99 barrel
Add a barrel clamp to the M99 barrel to the lower receiver
JB Weld a tactical bolt knob with an extension rod
Cut out ejection port
Cut out upper receiver for the bolt to cycle back
Add a shroud to hide the Savage magwell
Repaint everything flat black
Should I remove the fake .50 cal bullets on the side? hehe
