is ammo slowly returning???

like everyone else, been searching high and low. almost always striking out. but, here's what kinda interests me. for the last several weeks I check cabelas, which is probably a good bellweather. for along time there was no .22LR even listed. either 22mag or .17, as far as rimfire went. all of a sudden, they now list remington, cci, winchester, aguila, and wolf. nothing in stock nor backorderable though.

but thinking that they didn't even list as of a few days ago, and hadn't listed for weeks and weeks. now listing many brands. midway lists all the time, even when it's completely out.

I'm thinking that it's possible that they are expecting more soon, just don't want to announce or set a date. obviously "in stock" is going to unleash the hounds of hell.

I noticed this the other day. It's not just rimfire - it's everything. I think they're putting all their normal stock up online with "Due to unusually high demand, we may not be able to accept backorders for this product." so people stop calling or getting orders through with product numbers.

There's plenty of .22lr ammo at the Chabot rifle range in Castro Valley. Not bad prices too.

I sure hope so! Just sent 300 rds downrange. Tried Aguila "match rifle" for the first time.

I hope it will. But what can you do with a few boxes. I dont see any bulk to be bought any place of any calibar. Lets hope we win this fight!
