Any Vortex Sparc users on 10/22's?

Looking for a small compact red dot for the ruger 10/22. Something reliable small and not expensive.

      I use a SPARC, but not on a 10/22

It's a very clear optic with an excellent warranty policy. The mounting base is the same as an Aimpoint T1 Micro, so you can use all sorts of aftermarket mounting platforms intended for the Aimpoint. And I highly recommend purchasing one of these mounts.

The on/off button is on the left hand side so you HAVE to remove it from the gun before you place it into a case or the optic will accidentally activate. And the cells aren't cheap. But if you have a throw lever mount, it's easier to remove.

The venerable James Yeager recommends the Bushnell TRS-25 for the Ruger 10/22.

            +1 SPARC

I have a Sparc I bought before my T1 and it is a great little optic, as previously stated the Primary Arms Micro dots are also a good bang for the buck. None compares to the battery life of the T1 but both hold zero and are pretty reliable.

Vortex strikefire on a S&W 15/22. Works awesome . Battery just replaced after 2 1/2 years of almost weekly use. Still holding zero after 10,000 rounds .
