    17hmr 301 yards confirmed

I purchased a new scope for my .17
A bsa mil/mil ffp. It's my first ffp and I am impressed

I was playing around with a few different weights of hornady and
this gun only likes the .17 grain.

So I was able to shoot in 25 yd increments and record my impact in mils.

At 200 on out the wind is very tricky and when I made the shot in the picture I was facing the wind of 5 kts.

I was able to clearly see my target with no parallax and I think that everything aligned for me at that moment.
I was very very pleased with my new scope and this long shot.

Would that be a CZ tacticool?

That's a pretty lucky shot with wind. I haven't stretched mine past 175 for rock chucks.

It's a savage. I chopped the barrel down to 18" and re crowned.
It seems to produce more consistent velocity numbers at this length.

In the filed I noticed a big difference in accuracy when I put on a Harris pivoting bi pod.

I also purchased a scope level/anti cant which I think helps a lot.

That's out there. I always wondered what kind of distance those could effective reach to. Longer than I thought.

I have 3 Harris swivels too, I can't seem to bring myself to buy anything but a Harris S.
Even v-max's pencil through at 175 for me.
