Hey all, just got a hold of this old Flatgate, haven't had a chance to really go over it yet, she needs a good cleaning. Guy I bought it off of said it was a heck of an accurate shooter, but he hadn't had it out of his safe in nearly 5 years. So, it now belongs to me
It certainly shows some wear, guy said his daughter dropped it once, cracked the handle, and marred some of the metal
Hoping I didn't overpay too much for it at $250) Serial number is 317XX which puts is around '55-'56 maybe?
So, I'll just do a little clean up, replace the grips(keep these stored away), and consider it a nice little shooter, as it was designed to be.
Here's the pics, as I know you all love pics as much as I.
