Feeding issues with savage 64fxp

I got a few bricks of Remington 525 pack of .22. And I also picked up a few new clips for my savage 64. When I go to chamber the rifle the billet seems to jam and not wanna feed. This also happens more with the new clips. Anyone else have this problem.

This only happens when I first load the magazine into the gun. I have positioned the bullet at a slant but when I go to pull the firing block back the bullet will straighten out and jam. Sorry for not using the correct words for describing the gun parts.
