Ruger 10/22 with Strikefore ATI folding stock, legality

Thinking of getting the ATI stock, Strikeforce, but don't want to get it if its illegal in Cali.

    It's a standard carbine, 18.5 inches,

But what about when folded? Does anyone know the overall length when the stock is collapsed?

I'd like to get it, but not if I cant play on the range with it.

I was wondering the same thing. They do have the version that doesn't fold but still has the adjustable stock.

a folded rifle has to be over 26 inches(or was it 27?) in its folded state to be CA legal. Regardless, the folded ATI is a tad over 27 so yes it is legal. I'm pretty sure ATI made sure it met the requirements. Anyways, I have one and I believe its the best stock for the 10/22. looks bad azz, very portable and versatile. I had a little wiggle in my barrel though, a little electrical tape wrap around fixed it.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I was thinking they made, but California changed restrictions after ATI made it, because it has been around awhile.

It does look very versatile and tacit cool. I have read of similar loose issues needing small easy fixes.

        Thanks again.
