    10/22 prices..what?

When did the 10/22 become a $300 rifle? Regular old 10/22s in the box are going for $400 on gunbroker. WTF? That is nuts! Is this all part of the panic?

I just purchased a takedown for full retail - $389. Some places don't have to discount if there's a lot of demand with limited supply. Just glad I got one.

So it seems, yes. This is part of the panic.

One of the few reasons I'm buying a Marlin 795 over the 10/22.

Under the proposed California legislation, it will be an assault weapon, so yea.

turners still is having sales from time to time on them. not worth 400, but 200-350 is the going rate at turners and some other stores for them, depending of course on make and model.

got mine for 270 OTD *wood carbine* a little less than a year ago. But I've been seeing them for 400 used on the market.... it is an awesome gun and I've put a lot of rounds threw it but I don't think I would have paid that much if it was the normal price.

You can still find good deals if you are patient, both new and used. Turner has the takedown model for $329 starting today. I have been able to get the standard models less than $200 and a factory bull barrel just above $200. Just check multiple sites and be patient. Black Friday is always great too.
