80% AR pistol
Im planning on building an AR pistol in .22lr w an 80% lower. Question is can i use a pistol upper that has a threaded barrel? Do i still need a BB? Thanks for any help you can give!

You need a BB under any circumstances as it is a pistol whose magazine is not enclosed within the pistol grip. As you are required to install a magazine lock, barrel threads are a non-issue.
