    M&P .22 Pistol Accuracy / Adjustment Issues ?

I have a new M&P .22 pistol. Was sighting it in today. It was shooting high and to the left. Had to bring the elevation down almost 4". However, I can't budge the windage screw. One person told me it probably has a couple of drops of Loctite. There is a slight amount of blue residue visible on the area above the screw. Is there anyone having similar issues ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just shot my M&P 22 and it shot the same, 3-4" high and to the left.
I tried to lower the sight a few clicks, tried again, and again. The sight slopped clicking and the rear sight would not go lower even through you could still push the blade down and it would spring back up. really aggrivating. still shooting about 2" high.

My M&P has the blue toctight on it also, but i did not try to budge it.

Spoke to one of the guys at Oak Tree today. After looking my pistol and target, he said, "I've heard that's an issue with some of the M&P .22s. Suggest you call S&W and ask them to deal with it." Also, watched Nutnfancy video on the M&P .22. I do recall him saying that he did have some issues and returned it to S&W. Calling S&W in the morning and asking them to address the issue.

With everything going on, I completely forgot about this post. In short, I eventually sent pistol back to S&W with a note indicating issues I was experiencing. I got it back 2 weeks later. The invoice indicated both front and rear sights were replaced and the ramp was polished. My 12 year old daughter has fallen in love with it. It's now "her" pistol.

Both of mine have the same issue. Did s&w pay for the shipping and how are the new sights? Able to get them zeroed now?

Tagged. I have this pistol but don't know if it's off or not. Will need to shoot it from a bench for testing. What distance are you guys shooting at?

Just took my new m&p out for the first time today. Same issue with three different guys shooting it. High and to the left. How was customer service with your send back kayaker 55?

If the pistol is new and the sights cannot be zeroed at 25or 15yds contact S&W. They have good customer service and if the firearm is in warranty they will pay for shipping both ways. Its one reason I bought a S&W 22A-1, lifetime warranty and they pay shipping. Couldn't resist that and its accurate as well.

They don't have the rears in stock. Any other place to buy these?
