10/22 gun cases that can lock

I bought my kids 10/22's, with mine that makes 4. Mine has a scope and my daughter wants a scope now. I need four cases. I want them to be able to take a lock since I live in a school zone and carry guns in the bed of my pickup. I prefer soft cases but don't know how'd they do in the back of the truck, especially with scopes. Don't want to buy Pelican cases, etc. since I have to buy four. Any suggestions on decent cases?

Voodoo tactical rifle case. You might be able to get 2 rifles into each case.

I have one of these. Got it years back for $25. It fit's two 10-22's with scopes fine. I wouldn't go soft sided if your going to let it ride in the back due to no protection for the scope or flexing/bendable.

In keep 2 10/22 in this. One with scope and one w/out. I like that it has holes to put a lock on it too. I think I paid $18-$20 at gun show

I've got a couple of those Plano cases from Big-five as well.

They're not terribly secure. The plastic is flexible enough that even when locked, you can just open one end and pull the gun out from inside. That said, I'm sure they fit the definition of a locked case when you do have a lock.

Yeah, but all he needs for transport is something that meets the definition of a locked container. Frankly I think the voodoo tactical, 5.11(what I have) cases are more durable than the planos.

The plano cases would work, although I don't think you'd be able to get 2 10/22's into one, especially with optics. Just go for soft cases and basic luggage locks. They'll survive a road trip in the back of a truck as long as it's not raining or something(the plano cases wouldn't do much better), of course it's not like you're going to be stopping at 7-11 and leaving the back of the truck unattended or something, right?

I've got a voodoo tactical dual rifle case, works great, and will hold two scoped rifles.
