Took it to the range at work. Took a sec to sight in my temporary 13 year old simmons 3x7-40. I had almost no ammo and even less time so I only shot at 25 meters, but I was still impressed since it was the 1st time it was fired by anyone.

    Best group

This was the last round I had. One of my fellow instructors drew this small A** box. Not bad I think. Don't mind the other shots. The one in the red circle was the only shot fired that volley.

    Thanks,
    Barry

A little update. I originally bought a Mueller APV for my project but the order kept being pushed back week after week. I was looking at an additional 6 week wait on top of already waiting since jan 31. Well I cancled my order and settled for one of the barksa hot magnums. Not my 1st choice but it was gettable. Sadly I waited 4 days and calle dopticplanet back and they said I never ordered the barksa... even though the mueller order was cancelled and I talk to a rep on the phone who said he ordered it for me. Well today I told them hold off on ordering the barksa and a put a bid on a mueller apv on ebay. Fingers crossed 13hrs left.

        Thanks,
        Barry

I didnt win the bid, but I was still able to score a new one with a free sunshade for $129... To bad I already have a sunshade I paid for when I did my original order through Optics Planet. Does anyone need one?

Thanks, just picked one up! As the OP said it seemed like it was OOS everywhere else.

Some feedback would be good when u get to try it out, i have a bushnell 3.5 -10 by 40 on my HB 10/22 right now,, seems to do the trick but am always open to improvement.

When I installed my GM barrel i ended up freezing the barrel and heating the receiver to get them to go together.

Well I recieved my mueller apv yesterday and had it to the range today. Zero'd quickly and the glass is very clear. We had stuff to do at work so I was ns a hurry. I was getting quarter sized groups at 75 yards while being rushed. The scope looks like it is very build quality and should last a lifetime. I only have one complaint so far. The eye relief is odd and unforgiving. You have to be in just the right spot to get your full field of view. It might be a non issue with some time behind the trigger.

Joe bob was sold out last time I checked. The seller on ebay got me the scope fast and is the same deal as joe bobs or opticsplanet.
