    Ruger 10/22 info needed

Are there any CA restrictions or modifications required to sell a Ruger 10/22 rifle?

10/22 perfectly legal. But not BX-25 mags.

rimfire rifles are not applicable to restrictions like center fires are other than mag size/barrel length. look at 1-6 http://www.calguns.net/caawid/flowchart.pdf

The only restrictions to rimfire rifles are...
            Minimum barrel length = 16"
            Minimum overall length = 26"

Overall length is measured with the firearm in the shortest firing configuration (stock folded/collapsed).

I don't understand your question. Nothing is required but the 10/22 itself (assuming it's registered to you), and an FFL. No high cap mags, and no bumpfire mods.

To be a California Legal transaction, the transfer just has to be completed at the FFL. Otherwise, what the above posters have said about high cap mags like BX-25 come into play.

if your inquiry of buying a 10/22 from another state... some gun stores just don't want to deal with the hassle of selling any type of weapon to CA even if it does meet all legal restrictions
