    Volquartsen Rifle Thoughts

So lets just get to it.
I've been looking at the Volquartsen Custom Rifles (not building one off a existing ruger) and I realize that they are a serious expense, more then I thought I could ever consider spending on a .22 rifle. However, i have this nagging thought that I really want one.

So, who has experience with these. And who would like to talk me into or even out of one of these awesome rifles?

I have had mine ordered since May of 2012. Still not here.
There is one for sale, BNIB, in the private section. If you can swing it go for it.

I have a Volquartsen superlite receiver, trigger, stock, etc. that is really nice to shoot. I also have a KIDD set up. I suggest you also take a look at KIDD. Slightly nicer feel IMHO and one of the best triggers you will ever experience.

coolguyguns.com. Buy the action/barrel/trigger setup only and get it built and done. Then throw on a stock, options to personalize it, and you'll have a tac driver for about 1100 or so. Those things are nuts accurate. I don't know if this was the expensive you were looking at, but for $1300-1500 you could have a sweet setup that will punch times all day at 50. I like KIDD products and their trigger is second to none.
