My dad gave me a .22mag AMT automag II semi auto and I have never heard of them before. Has anyone had any experience with AMT guns? Are they worth keeping around?

Yes. I may be wrong but they are one of the last pistol manufacturers in Cali. I have an Automag III in .30 cal. carbine that is sweet. I haven't shot it in a while but I really like the way it looks and it is very accurate as well. KEEP this and hand it down to your kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are one of the only .22magnum pistols around. Ive got one and love it. Shoots a fireball from all the unburned powder out of the short barrel. They can be finicky and need to be well maintained to function well. Pretty accurate and semi rare. Worth a decent amount in this state.Comment

High Standard now produces the AMT AutoMag. Shouldn't be a problem with parts.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

I don't think the new ones are on the roster. The old ones are going to be worth a good penny in a few years. If you have the box and all paperwork it will be worth more. You may be able to find extra mags on line. Good luck and enjoy.Comment
