Picking up my first gun in 3 days

Bought it on the 10th picking it up on the 20th a standard wood stock ruger 10/22 really excited lol, I can shoot it in my back yard so no need to drive out to a range to try it, I live on 20 acres of hillsides, going to hike off to the corner of the property and set up a little range

Im in santa cruz so unfortunately thats a little far for me, hope you can still have tons of fun in these dreary times, I went to 5 different shops with the same answer at all of them "no ruger 10/22s will be in stock for a couple of months" then I found this little gem of a store with 2 10/22s and an sr22... Couldnt afford the sr so I got what I was looking for

Had one when I was younger mom got convicted and I lost it, so glad to finally get it back, now cant wait to shoot it. Anybody near the santa cruz area wanna sell some bulk ammo? ha

10/22 was the first rifle I bought when I turned 18 waaay back in tha day. Great little Ruger.

A great choice and simply a blast to shoot. One bad thing though. All the mods you can do! You and your gun will never be the same if you go that route.
