    Suggestions/advice on Ruger 1022 trigger

So originally I was going to purchase the Volquartsen High performance action parts kit:

I saw the Kidd trigger group that everyone raves about- but $300 is steep

    I also saw this option:
    Kidd "trigger job" set

    And finally this:

Would this be my best option? It comes with pretty much all the extras that are in the first Volquartsen kit- but the carrier is aluminum which is nice. I've already purchased a bolt buffer seperately and I've also purchase an edge extractor.

What do you guys think? Id really appreciate some guidance- thanks!

Thanks- what are major differences between trigger group and drop-in trigger?

KIDD KIDD KIDD, did I mention KIDD? No really, you should by a KIDD. If you dont want the KIDD trigger, then get the KIDD

The trigger group is made of aluminum housing. Very solid feel. Ease of adjust ability vs changing out springs in the drop-in trigger. You also get the auto bolt release included and the extended magazine release in the KIDD trigger groups. That is approx $46 in parts, so the trigger group itself is under $200 if you do the math. If you have the cash, pony for the group (either single or two stage). Read the FAQ on the KIDD website to give yourself an idea of what is right for you. I myself own the KIDD Single stage trigger. It's fantastic, the trigger break is so clean and crisp.

If I still lived in Vallejo I'd let you shoot mines to test out.

Thank you. I have a 20" SS BB varmint in jail. So far I've ordered Hogue stock, Midwest industries picattini rail, bolt buffer and Volquartsen edge extractor.... So trigger is my next decision- and it's a tough one!

Kidd2 stage is worth it. I know the price is steep, but I've tried or own all 3, and nothing is close.

I wanted the 2 stage but was just out of reach for me in price. Was slightly painful to buy the single stage, but after shooting it I love it. Maybe a 2 stage down the road.

I love my houge stock as well. I have a 10/22 with the kidd extractor, KIDD black bull barrel, KIDD Single stage trigger, with a Nikon Rimfire 3x9x40. One of my fav firearms out of everything I have.

Ok great. I actually have a Nikon prostaff currently on my Sig 522. I'll be putting it on the Ruger and throwing a red dot back on Sig. I had to get another 10/22 after recently buying over 15k .22lr rounds! I love my .22's

I remember you were hunting down some .22lr. Where did you end up finding it? I'm still on the hunt for some Blazer
