sights for a Ruger 10/22, need input

I am about to head out the door to purchase a Ruger 10/22. I know I do not like the factory sights on these rifles and I am looking to purchase a set of fiber optic sights. This rifle will be primarily used by my wife and this will be the rifle she learns on. The reason for wanting fiber optic sights is to make it easier for her to see the sight picture.

Does anyone have any input on this or perhaps can recommend a good set of sights?

I put Tech-Sights on mine. The front post is adjustable for elevation and the rear sight is adjustable for elevation and windage. Buy them on line. Get the sight adjustment tools when you purchase the sights.

tech-sights are the only way to go for iron sights

I'm sure you're an excellent teacher but if she's just learning I suggest taking her to the next Appleseed in your area. She'll receive top notch rifle training and won't be mad at you for fussing at her about technique - you'll both have a great time.

Just don't leave your sight adjust tool on the bench at the range.

At least I got dialed in so hopefully won't need it for a while/ever. Tech sights are awesome.

The thing is you kinda have to learn how to shoot with an aperture sight. It's not the same as open sights. Once you learn though you'll love them. Get the tech sights.

i like mine for close range but would like to add one for 50-100 shots.

Now this is a welcome find.

I have just started using my old 10/22 as a primary marksmanship and transition rifle for my boys, to their U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1's.

Will be getting a set of these.
