Anyone tried the Midway's back order? there's some good deals OOS but backorder ok.

Since I'm in no rush for 22lr ammo, I placed a backorder with Midway for a case of CCI Mini Mags. The price is right at $0.068 cents a round with shipping included so I'm happy with that. IMO if you can wait, it's easier than hunting these 30 second deals all the time or constantly checking Walmart.

yes there's a deal for a bucket of 1400 Remington 22LR golden bullet including shipping @ $80. that's not a bad deal if they actually fulfill their backorders.

Magix is spot on. If you BO the cases the shipping is less significant. If you try and order 3-4 different types in smaller quantities you could get hammered in shipping

I cancelled all my backorders at Midway. I have enough 22LR from Cabelas and Gander in the past 2 months to get me through the next year. If there is another price drop and it becomes more available I'll whor'd some more.

Now back to 9,45 and 223.

I second that!! I have enough of a surplus I can pick and choose where I make my purchases from and it's must definitely not from Midway. I can hold off for the random deals from Cabelas or Gander and not have to wait for a BO from Midway from the middle of 2014 and not get gouged for shipping, especially with their ammo limits. There prices are nice, it's just too bad they didn't offers shipping like Cabelas and Gander they would probably get a lot more business!

+1 If your in no rush Midway does have good deals on their backorders, but expect to wait. I've got just about every case of bulk pack type .22 lr they carry on backorder and as long as it ships before CA pulls the plug on internet ammo mail order I am good. So far I have received a case of Minimag 40gr, American Eagle 38gr, and a Bucket O' Bullets can.

For people who need ammo now, the Cabelas and Gander 5 minute in stock ammo deals are hard to beat. Just need to get lucky.

Yep. I'm over Midway. Cabela's and Gander have gotten all of my business.

There isn't any current legislation banning internet ammo sales. But a new year and new bills aren't too far away.

Midway charges you when they ship. They don't take the money up front. But just make sure the credit card you used at the time you placed the order is current when they process it or they will cancel you backorder.

Oh WOW, CCI BLAZER! I haven't seen that in a while.

$16 shipping to me on ten boxes, plus one 525 bulk pack.

.106 per round delivered on 1025 rounds... not horrible if you have been looking for Blazer.
