This happened to me last week even though I was home the whole day. Chances are the driver was running late and your package was the only one to deliver in the area so he skipped it and saved himself 15-30min off his workday.RECEIVER WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE DELIVERY ATTEMPT
I just checked delivery status on some Blazers from C that were to be delivered today.
Its showing the above message.
Whats up with this????
UPS has been leaving packages from C on my doorstep for years, ammo and other wise.
Did some driver just make up his own ammo delivery rules???
Just a guess but is possible.Comment

NO!!!
It's a new thing where if they think they are being followed they will leave a door tag and not deliver. I got this and my UPS guy told me this is a "new practice" though not a policy yet. He had some yokel tailing him so he chose not to deliver to not risk theft. On the door tag you can accept the risk if you choose. We set up a special location in case Im not home.On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.Comment

Teach me wise ones... For anyone who knows HTML, why hasn't Gunbot picked up on the Blazers available most of today at Cabela's?.

I know squat about HTML, but I think gunbot only looks at the rimfire page at Cabela's. Blazers haven't been there AFAIK. It's never been very good at finding stuff at C. On Gander it obviously monitors many item pages.Comment

Thats what I thought at first.
However they actually did come to the door and leave a notice that they needed a signature.
It has a place to sign on the back if I want to put it back on the door monday before I leave for work.
Not to wild about that idea.
Hopefully just get a different driver monday.
NEVER has this happened before.
I have gotten 2-4 cabelas packages delivered every week for the past 11 weeks by UPS.
So while I'm complaining about UPS 1 out of 35 screw up,
I will thank every body here that has done the heavy lifting so I could have the opportunity to buy .22 ammo at a brisk pace with very minimal effort.

The blessings I experience every day are far better than the wrath I deserve.
Thankfully, there is no such thing as karma.
Proof being that if it did exist we would all most assuredly be dead

This story sounds oddly familiar! My wife wondered why I wanted to stop at every Wal Mart on our trips
