Most of the guys here are dads and don't wanna run out. Granted there are some flippers but that is their choice.

Did you seriously just make a "think of the children!" argument? Well many of us are taking our kids out with the ammo we find, or first time shooters etc.
We're all in the same boat. Hopefully in another year this craze will be over, but it wont be until the manufacturers increase production and ammo stays on the shelves for a few days. until then, people will use every edge they can to get the ammo they want. I'd rather see people in this forum get ammo than the flippers, even though I'm sure several of them in here ARE flippers.

I don't think anyone is offended but..I see this argument a lot and it holds no water. gunbot gets it and the world buys it out. Dad needs to be sitting at his pc at the very minute the dop occurs.

Ok, let's get this out in the open. There is a small group of us (14) with a FB group, some are CG members, just 2 or 3.

Instead of complain and whine we use team work to spot ammo and I send a group message when I see something. I post to CG right after my guys get it, 1 minute or less if CG has not seen it.

We also watch people steal links from CG and post them in FB groups with thousands of members. This was at it's peak with the old links.

I was clearing out old posts in the group when I seen a link for a 2100 dry box. I snatched it from gunbot when I heard it was in stock because it was not the old metal one which is what I had a link for. We missed them as did everyone else because they were never in stock on 3/31. If they were, I missed them.



Just before I deleted it I noticed it was different. All it did was emulate the add to cart button and add an item to the cart, basically a time saver.

Hmm..you make it seem as if participants in this forum have a responsibility (to you or the general shooting public).

You (and the general shooting public) can visit their neighborhood brick and mortar Walmart, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Big 5, Dicks Sporting Goods and a host of other sporting good stores (and of course shooting ranges and gun shops) for ammo purchase.

In the scheme of ammo life, this forum is just a speck atop of a speck in determining the nation's supply and/or demand for 22LR.

IMO, there has been little availability of ammo on Cabela's site since their change over. And I think they will see sales have suffered once the current quarter (thru June) is in the books. After all, they are a publicly traded stock and ammo purchases (on line or in the store) does generate other sales for them.

I'm sick if hearing about flippers this and flippers that. The last time I checked this was America, home to capitalism and free market economics. People get pissed at government regulation but in the next breath get pissed that someone has the freedom to make a business out of buying and selling ammo (which is basically a commodity at this point), and they want regulation so they can have what they think is easier access and lower prices. Why don't you all just start an Occupy Cabela's movement then? For cryin' out loud people, this is a mostly free country and no one is stopping you from putting in the effort that those others are to get ammo. I used to get pissed at the guys lining up for two hours al Walmart to buy .22lr and then I remembered something- I have a f'ing job so if I need it that bad I can pay a little more to avoid the line, etc! Ever wanted front row tickets to a Laker Game? 50 yard line seats to a football game? Did you pay face value for your seats? I didn't think so. Now get over it and do what the rest of us do (watch and wait) without whining about it.

Yeah, flippers are free to do what they want, I just meant people are trying to buy at cost and not deal with them...any advantage helps, like first (early) notice.

The reason why people are complaining that they think that they have the goodies without putting any effort. I do see why the group will get their ammo first because they put the effort to monitored. I do believe that there is no magic code.... just the old fashion way. Yankee and the others are doing us a favor for letting us know. They could easily kept it by themselves.
Some people are complaining that they did not get more. So what! I missed the whole multi WL because of timing and being new. Did I complained? nope. I am glad that Yankee provided the link here for a brick of Blazer. Yes I got one and it is in process because I did not do multiples purchases.
