Plenty of ammo shipments have come in the last few days.

I can now be a 5-Hour Energy distributor.

Better yet - give these to my staff for higher efficiency output!

I don't disagree with you at all.

With that said, people often look for an easy way to reach a destination when in fact, those 16...21..24...25 item links are easily bypassed for the same results. It may require you to spend a whopping 15 seconds to get to where you want to go. But once you're there...

...and no, I'm not sharing. The regulars here know of what I speak and if not, it will take them just a minute to think outside the box. For everyone else, you'll have to earn your keep.

          Muhahaha...

Seriously, ya'll think about it. There is an "access door" that for Cabela's to take away, would require re-writing 98% of their site relating to ammo. That will not happen.

I was doing the F5 on multiple tabs and later the alert add-ons in my Firefox long before I found this thread. It's not rocket science. I wasn't doing too great with those methods, mainly because the time I could spend online is limited. The alert thing didn't work out too good for me because my PC is a little dated and Firefox would quit loading so many tabs and stall when loading. Then I came across this thread and managed to do better because others (THANK YOU AGAIN) were posting the deals real time. I wanted to repay the favor but was never fast enough. I wanted to come across a live link JUST ONCE and be able to post it here first. I was even using the Cabelas catch-all link before it became widespread knowledge here. Again because of not having too much free time, only maybe clicking on it a couple of times a day, I wasn't likely to be in a position to beat others to the draw in posting finds here. But I never felt compelled to show that cart link here.

One thing I would have never done however, is to post in an open forum HOW exactly I was looking for the links. Nor would ask and expect anyone else to share that information with me. For the very reason that we see today. Do you really want tens of thousands of people reloading those tabs and crashing the site? Do you really want greedy flippers bumping everyone else out of the way? So now the guys who used to pick up a brick here and there don't stand a chance. The fishing-hole analogy is a good one. It's great to help others, but I think it's not too wise to stand on a street corner and give away everything you know to as many people as possible, not knowing if some of them might abuse that information.

It's an OPEN forum for Gods sake. Think about it. When you have guys come in here and in their first posting on this site start asking you "how did you find that link", instead of saying "thank you, I managed to buy some", and you start spilling your guts. That's not being kind and generous. I think it's plain foolish. I will still gladly post a link to a deal (AFTER I BOUGHT MY ONE BRICK, if it was something I wanted), but you can bet that if I figured out a new way to FIND deals, I would only share it very selectively with people that I can be sure will not abuse it.

          1) Feed a man a fish, he eats for a day (says the Democrat).
          2) Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime (says the Republican).
          3) Teach him to fish, then show him your very own private fishing hole (says the do-gooder)

I would do 1 and 2 without hesitation, but if I did 3, then I should have no cause to complain that I don't have any fish to eat.

                      what he said^^^^

Why be sad? links still work,
just the easy to get ones everyone shared and abused are gone, today is a happy day. More ammo for us less for the flippers.
Kudos to Cabela's for stepping up.

it did, atleast for now. Still trying to figure out how to add items that weren't originally in the cart.

I still had a link with lots of items from a few months ago. i think the only thing i need/want to add is blazers since they seem to be popping up quite frequently. Though i should try and find the new 300ct tactical/choot em links since the one i have inludes the 375 packs intead.

Just go back and forth between cart and checkout a few times. It is steadily in and out.
