Clean Shelves

Well, I was expecting it. I had read about the unavailability of .22s (and most everything else), but hadn't experienced it first hand until today. Went to Turner's/Corona - you never saw such clean shelving! It looked like a new store ready for their deliveries! The only .22 LR they had for sale were 4 lonely boxes of Rem hi speed short. I could not force myself to get them just to get them, so I went home without. No Feds, no CCI, no Winchester, NOTHING! Now, if I had my auto mag II in 22 win mag, I'd have had it made.

Interesting times.

I guess, but I won't buy them at inflated prices. You find out who your friends are in hard times. Do we really think 22lr ammo is getting banned? I don't. Criminals only need a few rounds of ammo. Target shooters use the vast majority.

I'l just wait. If you look around you can still find good deals on 22lr ammo. I have.

The Wall-Mart shelves in San Diego are all bare. I've checked La Mesa, El Cajon, and Santee.
