Legality of High Capacity Mag

Ca AW laws exempt rimfire rifles. So, if you legally own a +10 mag, you can use it in a rimfire rifle with evil features. BTW, .22lr and .223 are both the SAME CALIBER. One is not larger in diameter (caliber) than the other.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

CA's assault weapons laws do not apply to rimfire rifles.
CA's large capacity magazine laws does apply to rimfire magazines, except for .22 calibered tubular magazines [PC 16740(b)] and tubular magazines on lever-action firearms [PC 16740(c)].
So, if you legally own them, you can use them.
But, you can not legally import, manufacture or sell them [PC 32310] and if you acquire them via a non-exempt method (buying/finding/etc) then they are subject to confiscation [PC 32390].
