Picking ammo for my mp5 SD <ca version>

Hey CG'ers got my HK MP5 SD .22 in jail atm,

Due to lack of .22LR locally along w/.223 i ordered some hv ammo from
Cabelas. For those w/ semi-autos which ammo have u found consistent
for target practice? I guess id rather have ammo that cycles w/o Ftf or Fte
Instead of a rifle that has issues due to ammo...

I know i need to try out what works w/ rifle but just looking for any suggestions
before i pick up my rifle.. In advice or comments will be appreciated
Thanks in advance...sorry no double space im at work trying to type w/my
Thumbs as fast as i can :-/
    Talk to u guys later

Where did you find a MP5 SD from? And how much did it cost? There are A5s around here, but not SDs.

    Thx

Where did you find the A5s? I've been looking for one in Orange County. Riflegear is showing they have the SDs in stock for $479, but I'm hoping to find an A5.

I don't have one of these yet, but everything I've read say they eat pretty much all ammo. Most people seem to prefer CCI Mini-Mags, but all the bulk ammo seems to work fine except for one reviewer that reported problems with subsonic ammo. I'd try whatever you can get a hold of and let us know how it works out.

I found the SD @ Tracy Rifle and Pistol $550 i initially saw it on Rifle Gear's site

also for $480. But since i live in the bay area even if i spent the extra money on

mags (which i did anyway w/TRP) to get free shipping w/purchases $500 and up.

I wasnt sure when the rifle would be sent to a FFL to Dros it due to thier current

back up on orders. I rolled the dice to see if Tracy Rifle and Pistol had em, thier

reply....we have one of each Done.."in jail" next day

Back to the ammo, i have mini mags and federal "HV" coming. Probably hit the

Range next weekend, will report back

Thanks guys, I'll have to keep looking around. I stopped by a few Big 5s and Turners last weekend with no luck, but there are more in the area.
