Finally brought home my first!(ruger 10/22)

So happy to finally be able to bring her home!









Got it through a consignment at the local shop. Came with the bushnell scope(unknown model), a butler creek steel folding stock, scope mounts, and an extra BX-1 mag.

Even though it was pre-owned, it has very few rounds through it and looks spotless. I couldnt find a single knick or scratch. Cant wait to take her out in the future(no ammo yet lol).

That muzzle break came with it. looks kinda weird since its spiral-esque. I'd much rather have the normal straighten ones. my location is East Bay(of SF). I actually bought some 22lr ammo from the marketplace here, but it was shipped ups so it wont be here till next week.

Congratulations. The 10/22 is a great little gun and loads of fun to shoot. With ammo at $.03 a round (pre-panic prices) I can shoot for hours compared to larger calibers.

I got it for $225 pre tax/DROS ($275 at the end).

it came with the bushnell scope, butler creek folding stock, weaver rails, tasco scope mount, that muzzle break, and the extra ruger 10rd mag. Those extra parts alone I can easily sell for over $100 on ebay if I wanted to so I think I got a pretty good deal. The Butler creek alone goes for $70+ on ebay used.

haha that fan is awesome. The top part can point 1 direction and the bottom can point another, therefore you can cover twice the range.

wow 3 cents a round? I bought 3 boxes of 375 federal ammo from someone on calguns for $60 that comes out to a little over a nickel each

I started out with a 10/22 35 years ago and it is still going strong! In my opinion the single most important upgrade you can make it to replace the factory extractor with the one manufactured by Volquartsen (sp). Other than that it looks like your GTG.

Another thing to look at is a new barrel band. The one I have has a place for a sling as well as a rail so you can put on a bipod.
