where to find a cheapish .22 in santa cruz?

I was at Markley's today and they are barren! The only rimfire rifles I saw were a Marlin and a Savage combo. They had some of the used pump .22's but even their pistols are pretty much gone.

Did you happen to see what Markleys had left for Handguns? I'm looking for a S&W M&P 22, which they had a week ago. They don't answer the phone and would like to know before I make the drive.

They had a few .22 handguns, I believe I saw an M&P but I'm not sure. I was too busy being struck by how empty their shelves were in general. The showroom was pretty crowded today but the lanes were only about half full. Perhaps that's why they didn't answer.
