Hi guys! I'm really no stranger to shooting, I picked up my S&W M&P 15-22 8 months ago, and I'm finally deciding to add some goodies and make the rifle slightly more "customized". So, I was looking at swapping out the take-down & pivot pins ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123 ) I found those pins, but I'm not sure if those will fit in my lower, plus I'm kind of looking at lowering the trigger pull weight, but I'd prefer to keep my stock trigger, can I just swap out a spring or something?

Take down pins will work. all the lower parts on a 15/22 are interchangeable with real ar15parts.
Look into jp yellow trigger springs. ive heard good things about them, that they lower the trigger pull to 4-5lbs down from 8-9lbs on the stock springs. i dont have them in my 15-22 yet but i will in a couple of weeks. i believe i saw them on brownells or midway cor less than 10-15 bucks -
OK, thanks for the responses guys! I'll definitely check into the JP Yellow springs, and the take-down pins. Ibefuz said that all AR-15 lower parts will work, on one site I saw custom trigger guards, which enticed me but I looked at my 15-22, and the trigger guard area on the 15-22 appears to be one piece composite with the rest of the lower housing.Comment

Trigger guard is def integral. And another plus one for JP yellows. I have had them for a couple of a years or so. Great upgrade for little cash. The California Moderate Centrist Militia member in exile
