4 Digit S&W Model 41

I just picked up a 40xx no prefix model 41 from my LGS. It is in fantastic shape, such good shape is wonder if it was re-blued (done very well if so). I believe it has the original 7 3/8 barrel but no muzzle brake or false muzzle.

Any info on these early 41s? Also I would like to get a 5.5 barrel drilled and tapped for a scope. They are hard to come by so I appreciate any leads or offers.
