AR owners...decent .22lr upper still out there..

century has the chiappa .22lr upper for $249,they will keep the mags so you need some black dog mags.

i have one already and ordered a second one .

works just as good as the colts

use's all existing lowers and pins on via takedown pins on your lower.

^^This...if you have the choice and the cheddar.

But congrats on your 22LR upper! They are a blast to shoot and with the (possible) upcoming .223 ammo prices, a great deal easier on the wallet.

Problem with the Chiappa is the design is great. But the materials are poor.
Leads to breakage and poor performance.
Now if they would just use some better steel instead of pot metal, they would have something.
CMMG uppers are available but because of all the goofs panic buying, there is a longer waiting list.

              CMMG is good
              Kies is good
              Nordic Components NC-22 very good

earlier generations of the CMMG needed some tweeking but all in all still good uppers.

Have been enjoying my Chiappa a lot. No other real alternatives that are affordable.

My buddy ordered a Taccom 22lr upper. They look awesome and the reviews are positive. I'm going to stalk him to test em out.

i love my DPMS 22 upper. Black Dog mags are pretty pricy though.
