    Glenfield Mod. 25 enhanced trigger

I have a 70s era glenfield model 25 .22 bolt rifle, and I absolutely love that little plinker. It is stupidly accurate even out to 100 yds and will shoot dime sized groups at 50. The question I have is this. Does anybody know if there are aftermarket triggers for them? I have searched with little luck. The trigger is rough on the gun and the break is harsh. I'm sure I could get more accuracy if the trigger would break cleanly and smoothly. I have tried polishing the moving surfaced and tuned it a bit, but it's still rough. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You have an awesome rifle, I have the same one. I'm not sure about aftermarket triggers, but have you ever tried the trigger mod? It's basically replacing the factory trigger spring with a spring from a mechanical pencil. It did wonders for mine, I get about a 3-3.5 # trigger now.

These are a few of the most helpful threads that I found that tell you what you can do to improve the trigger on your Marlin bolt action rifle. Once you have read through these threads you will see that most of the information comes from our RFC member, DKemper. Trigger Work - Tincody Marlin...

A Riflebasix trigger may be a few bucks but it's fully adjustable!
