    Grizzly Island target shooting?

A bit off topic but I wasn't sure where to post and I lurk here the most.

Anybody know if there are any restrictions for target/recreational shooting on Grizzly Island? It's only 10 minutes from work and might make for a fun lunch break to plink some targets. Any other locations you folks can give for a lunchtime shoot near Benicia?

I think there is and now being duck season last thing you want to do is shoot over there, people pay good money for those blinds.. I have a friend that owns a big peice of property out there and we shoot all the time on his land...

I assume you are talking about courtesy for the hunters? I agree with that and thanks for the heads up, I didn't know it was duck season.
Any locations in the park I can get away from them or do they overrun the place?

As far as I know her is NO target shooting allowed in Grizzly Island for public use. There are plenty of hunting areas, for those that hunt and know or have permission.

Funny you mention this my secretary said the other day to me that it must be hunting season over there because she heard the blasts of shotguns. She then looked at me and asked what will I bring for BBQ! Damn her!
