MKIII Hunter Rear Sight Pivot Pin Rides Out

My MKIII Hunter rear sight pivot pin is always riding out after 10-20 rounds.

Any idea on what I can do to get it to stay in in place?

Has anyone had similar issues with their Ruger's?

These are the adjustable target sights that come standard on the MKIII Hunter.

I think the pins are spring split rings. (hollow). When if falls out, just give it a slight tap to make it slightly oval at one end and then drive it back into the gun. should stay in then.
If not, should be a standard size and can get them at some hardware stores.

I'll take a closer look at it but I think the pin is solid.

The one on mine is a solid pin.
Does it always ride out to the same side?
If so I'd be tempted to SLIGHTLY tap one end to form a very very very small mushroom effect. Then just tap it back in on the far side of the movement.
Remember the pin already fits semi snug so the rule here is SLIGHT TAP, test, rinse and repeat as needed.
Other then that your other option is contact Ruger, I've had to do that before and their customer service is pretty good.
