The "one two" Punch of the .22 Ammo World...CCI & Federal Bulk. 2 things i haven`t found yet, BULK CCI & a .22 that doesn`t like it.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Correction, they do sell them in bulk right now. 375 rounds bulk box at Walmart for 27$.I've also seen them at Sportsmans Warehouse in the same box.

I was thinking BULK, as in an Ammo Can full, or Box. Turners had Federal Bulk 525 Count for 17.99 recently, I bought a bunch of that. CCI is Great Ammo, 27+ for 325 is Pricey tho! CCI "quiet" are good subs & available. I`ll pay for that, dont use much.

CCI Minimag is the best, but expensive. I have found that Federal Auto Match works well in picky guns, and it is quite a bit cheaper.

+1 on Auto Match! Not a bad price for fairly consistent bulk ammo.

Mini-mags, Blazer and the AR-Tactical are all good stuff.

I like CCI... they smell good too.

I think I like them too, I just don't like the price... At about 6.1c each in the plastic ammo can at Walmart is a bit high for "fun ammo" in my opinion.

In doing the calculations just now, they are really less than a penny more each (Walmart prices estimated from memory) than Federal, or Remington plated (washed).

Maybe I should just buy the good stiff from now on...

I prefer CCI primers, but haven't tried Stingers... yet.

I am not into straight lead ball rounds, as I keep hearing about majorly leaded barrels (Blazer mainly).

So far my Savage 64 will eat anything, but CCI minimags are definitely the cleanest burning (the 64 is a PITA to strip)

Good to know. During my lunch break today I ran to wallyworld and pick 2 boxes of Minimags "all they had left" and picked up a box of Federal Auto Match 325rds for..13.47$

Just took my 22/45 out of jail after work a few hrs ago, pretty excited.

Walmart and Ammo Bros recently had "bulk" CCI Minimags for sale. They were 1,600 rounds in a green plano case for $98/case at Walmart and $109/case at Ammo Bros. I was able to find 1 box at walmart, but I was told they sold out fast. If you really want to CCI Minimags in bulk, you'd have to buy a full brick of 5,000 rds and I've seen this for as low as $5.99 per 100 with Free Shipping.

CCI ammo is the best! I use a ton of Mini Mags and Blazer.

Really? Never seen them in a bulk box before. I hate Walmart, though, so that explains it I need to buy some CCI minimag sometime. After my rifle began to love American Eagle and especially CCI Blazer, that's all I buy. Did try out Federal Auto-Match and I had one round spew out powder out of my ejection port and also dump quite a bit in my trigger group. Sounded like a squib but it did launch out. Can't say I want to buy another box again. .22lr was my first caliber so after going to centerfire, $8 for 100 rounds is not bad at all

Edit: ohhhhh, are you talking about these?

I never looked closely at that box. I don't know the guy so I don't want his ammo hahah. I didn't know those were minimags...Well, guess I'll get a box then.
