recommend me a .17 HMR?

i was looking at the savage 93R17 TR in .17 HMR and i kind of liked it. can somebody recommend me some other brand/models to look into if their is something better?

There's always better (in to the $1000.00's), how better do you want to go? Savage is a solid platform. Look at their BV line too. Go to rimfirecentral.com and read.

Savage 93's ROCK!!!!! I have had mine for 9-10 years. I was expensive because they just came out (if I remember right), a lot more than they are now. You can find higher priced rifles but your going to have to spend way more to get anything better. Just my .02

I have a bsev .17hmr with a 1.7lb trigger and it is a tac driver. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

CZ. You owe it to yourself to check one out. Mine's the 452 Varmint.

+1 on the CZ. I have the 455 Varmint with the ability to change out the barrels. Waiting to shoot out the factory barrel so I can install a Lilja.
