    building a dedicated .22lr upper

I finally decided my next project should be a .22 upper.

I want to be able to use the same lower I do for 3gun for the bottom half of the project. what components will I need to make it work with the standard hammer etc?

i know there are a ton of small accessories from taccom, cmmg (bolt hold open etc)

what do I need? and what would u suggest?

    basic parts
    -.22lr barrel 16-18 in
    -standard milspec flattop upper
-STD ar15 barrelnut and delta ring assy
    or
    -freefloat rail
    -cmmg/cienner style ar22 bolt

Buy a complete CMMG Evo upper!

Check with shadow65 on the boards.

      Accesories are up to you.

Both CMMG and TACCOM run good.

CMMG is a traditional M4 type with the same weight.

TACCOM is an Ultra light weight.

I would go with a stainless CMMG bolt with either.

Most of the time, it's cheaper to buy the complete upper with Lifetime Warranty.
