where to buy Ruger MKIII Hunter

I'm in the Sacramento area. Anyone got any leads on one of these. I've already tried several gun shops around town. No luck so far.

I tried Wild Sports, Just Guns and Rancho Guns and Ammo.Wild Sports had a slab side target model. It was very nice. I almost bought it. It had a palm swell grip. I shoot pistols left handed.

I'd just call around. River City Gun Exchange, Sportsman's Warehouse, Cordova Shooting Center...

It seems it would be cheaper/easier to just buy the Target model that's local to you and get a replacement set of grips.

FWIW - I have a Target and many people who have Hunters have said they prefer the balance on it to that of their Hunters. So, Steve_In_29's advice might be something to consider - then put the extra $$ into ammo.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm gonna try some more gun shops this week. We'll see what comes up. That target model is a nice gun for sure. I really like the hunter's fluted berrel. I just think it looks cool.
