    Looking for Beretta u22 Neos

Went to the gun shop last week to buy this pistol and found it is on the ban list for California. Was put on the list Aug of 2011. Wanted to know if any one know of one for sale that could be transfared or how could I go and buy this in Nevada. Thank for any help.

As a Cali resident there is no way for you to "LEGALY" buy a gun out of state that isn't on the CA Saftey Roster.

A friend of mine has one and while it isn't a bad pistol it isn't all that either. The sights are pretty crude compared to my Rugers and as far as he can find, no one makes upgrades. His also had the extractor part ways with the pistol while firing. This is apparently a not uncommon occurrence as Beretta sent him the parts no questions asked.

Got a Neos for my wife 2 years ago and she loved it! Took my 12 yr old daughter to the range for the first time and she just wouldn't stop shooting until we ran out of ammo! I eventually got her(daughter) a carbine kit and couldn't be happier with it!

      Exactly like this:
Introduced in Italy in 2004, the Beretta U22 Neos Carbine Kit has finally made its way stateside.

Beretta chose not to renew it on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, after they recalled a bunch of them (safety/malfunction issue).

Unless you are a LEO, you can not purchase one.

That had to be a trivial expense for Beretta IF they were selling a decent number of Neos.
