red dot sight for Ruger Mark iii Competition

guys, please recommend a red dot sight for my new Ruger Mark III Competition pistol for range use.

low profile is preferred, i dont want the whole gun to be bulky on the top

These are very reliable and easy to pick up while looking through. The FF is great as well but harder to see while moving and trying to focus in to see the dot.

I put a Docter with a dovetail mount on my 22/45 and could not be happier with how low and tight it fits the top of the pistola. Not to mention the quality of the sight. The auto brightness feature is amazing.



However with that said I'd never own a Docter if I had to pay for it only because I can't afford one. I got lucky in a trade deal. My advice is buy the best you can afford and you'll be happy.
I'm eye balling a few sights on Primary Arms site for my next dot sight that will go on a 10-22 I get out of jail on friday

If you decide on the C-More, I'd suggest this mount for the lowest mounting system:

I have used the C-More, J-Point, Millet Ultradot and Tasco PDP3CMP. I keep going back to the "tube type" set ups, just seem easier for me to pick up the dot.

This might break the size criteria, but the Ultradot line are the preferred redo dots in Mark II forums like rimcentral, in particular the Matchdot model.
