Stock Modification For 10/22 TD

I would like to be able to use the hollow space in the 10/22 TD stock for storage to keep cleaning supplies.

One thought I had is to cut out the back of the stock and cover it with a rubber stock pad. Does any one know of any stock pads that will fit nicely over the TD stock?

Or, does anyone know of any aftermarket stock for the TD that has these features already? I tried a google search but didn't find anything.

I think it's a Great idea.....I will be looking into something like that after I pick mine up and have a chance to play with it a little bit.
