Looking to get a 22 Luger for my son for Christmas. I know of the Stoeger but was looking at the Erma models of which I am hearing mixed reviews. I have learned they made many different models through their production runs. The models I am finding is the EP22 which is supposed to be the better, earlier one and the LA22 which was made of alloy and not so good on quality. I also saw a BP22 which I cant find any info on quality and where that fell in the production run.
Does anyone here have any info on the different models (I heard there was 20+) and anything else I need to know? Thanks.
