Are you able to get a co witness with your red dot?
Seems really nice compared to having to add the rail on mine.

Picked up mine today from Big 5.
I bought it for $499 in the ad last week, and when I picked it up, the tag had it for $479.

It's not in the ad this time. They went ahead and refunded me the difference.

Not the real question is... who sells 25rd mag rebuild kits?
It looks like the long rubber mag block is glued to the inside of the mag. Anybody else finding creative ways to keep 10/25s for in state and them convert them once out of state?

            Feel free to PM me

The 10 round mag has those little side plates riding in the slot that can be pried off with little effort because they are only attached in a few spots. After that take the screws out and disassemble the mag, remove bottom spacer thing and replace spring with one for 25 round mag. If you don't replace the spring you will get failure to feed because stack pressure is to low using 10 round spring. Just leave the mags in pieces when in CA. Just use the short 10 round mags so you don't get them mixed up while shootin here in CA

                  Very cool!

I've had a GSG for years but have never seen one of the new Umarex/HK ones in person. Are the Umarex/HK ones built the same was as the GSG with a clamshell-type body or are them more like a real MP5 with a stamped metal frame?

How about the butt stock, is it hollow like the GSG or solid?

                  Thanks!

What I've heard from my brother, it is very similar to the real HK 94.
All steel and is much bulkier and heavier than the GSG.
I'm going to Big 5 tomorrow to check it out.

                        "Absolute" co witness...

With the mp5 rear sight drum its pretty eazy.

Thanks, I just stopped and checked it out.
Not bad at all! $ 540.00 OTD including tax and dros.
                            The M&P 15-22 is around $564.00 OTD

Just have to decide now which one to use for 22 lr. --- 3Gun Matches.

M&P 15 22 : Much lighter, and cheaper on mag kits. More realistic for real AR's for 3 Gun, with same functions.
Umarex HK- after market mounts and mag kits are more expensive.

                            Just thinking out loud....lol

HK parts.com is very expensive, good quality, but expensive. You can find both quality and good pricing on amazon. I did. The stock is the umerex stock but from amazon I got it almost 20 bucks cheaper just as an example.

I picked up a dual pack of long 10 round mags for $34 (I think) when CTD had them on sale. Mounts run $10 and up. The ncstar red dot has a mount and is usually under $45
