    10/22 locking/unlocking bolt a pain

I have been reading a lot of threads about upgrades for the 10/22 and I think down the road I may try a bull pup build, but for now I want to make some basic changes.

First thing I would like to find is something that makes it easier to lock and unlock the bolt.

Does anyone else have this problem and are there any upgrades to fix it?

3 minutes with a Dremel or a bit longer with a round file!

Get an Auto Bolt Release for like 10 bucks

          Sweet. Thanks.

Do you know if the Kidd trigger kit comes with this mod already done?

Yeah, the auto bolt is the answer. I started by buying one, then when I realized the difference, I took out the factory part of my other 10/22's and altered the original. Takes like 10 minutes and then complete happiness. While you are there if they do not have the extended mag release, then that is also a must do. You can also take the trigger and sear apart and do some polishing. Some alter those parts as well, but I will leave that up to you. Have fun.
