    Taurus m94 good so far

Ok... Don't beat me up because it isn't a Ruger or S&W.. But this piece is doing well so far for a $299 gun.

Fit and finish is as good as you'd expect on a .22lr. Accurate as any othe pistol I've owned. 9 shot, rubber grips. Steel frame should last forever since its a .22lr. Sights are adjustable, the usual sort.

Although I wouldn't say the action is butter smooth, it isn't rough either.

    About the only negatives:
Heavier trigger pull than I'd like (give ideas on how to improve it)
Barrel only available in 5in. (Thanks to California on that one).

I'll post pictures if you like. Again, I know it's not a Ruger or S&W, but I pack my pistols pretty hard and only require that they work every time and hit what I'm aiming at. So far this gun fits that bill.

I had one. Good little gun. Sold mine to a fellow Calgunner awhile back.
Hope you get lots of good use out of yours.

A reliable, moderately priced .22 double action revolver is a joy to behold. I think the heavy trigger just goes along with a double action rimfire. Taurus is sometimes spotty on quality but it sounds like you have a good one. Enjoy, they are nice looking revolvers.

I went to turners to buy one when they were on sale a few weeks ago. I couldn't get over what seemed like a 15lb trigger pull in DA. Everything seemed to lock up tight and it felt pretty nice otherwise

I'd be all over one if someone offered a cheap remedy to the DA pull.

My M94 has been good so far as well (other than the trigger pull issue). I wish the 4" barrel model was the one on the roster, though. The 5" just feels a bit nose-heavy.

Yes please post pics and details if you have the time. I'm also interested in one of these. Not a lot of DA .22lr available, especially at the price of the M94. Did you buy your's when it was on sale at Turner's?

Only thing I hated about it was the heavy
