Henry Rifle Failure to Eject Issues

I was out in the desert yesterday shooting an almost new Henry Rifle chambered in 22 wmr. I was using Fiocchi ammo. About every 3rd shot I was getting spent cartridges stuck in the chamber. Any ideas?

I haven't heard of that issue with a Henry, but there's a Henry forum on Rimfire Central and the folks there have lots of experience and might have an answer for you. Also, you can contact Henry directly. Their customer service is second to none, and if it's an issue with the gun and not the ammo, they will make it right.

Were you going nice & easy or working the action vigorously? I have the 22lr version and it does not like to be babied.

Thanks for the advice. I contacted Henry Rifles and the are having me send it back to them. They think it might be a clambering issue.

I do not believe I was short stroking the action.
