I just found out my club (Paradise Rod and Gun) is offering the NRA light rifle qualification in January. The targets will all be at 50 yards and scopes are recommended.
I just finished the handgun distinguished expert with my Ruger Mark2 and had a ball so I am really looking forward to this shoot.
My rifle for this event will be my Winchester Model 77 semi-auto 22lr.
I don't have a scope for it so I just found a smoking deal at Brownell's. A Nikon 7x32 Nikoflex reticle P-22 2 7x32 for $166. I get a little better price because I have an 03 FFL. But the reviews were all outstanding for this made to order scope.
I can't wait to set-it up. I had to order the dovetail/weaver mount and I don't have to have the barrel drilled I am told with this set-up.
I am hoping the CCI Green Label ammo will work as well as it did in my Ruger.
